We deliver a number of free online courses for adults. We have a selection of distant learning projects that can be completed from the comfort of your own home via online video. You will be fully supported by an online workshop, video tutorial, by email and telephone. All resources will be delivered directly to your door. Unsure how to access our live online courses? No problem! Full instructions will be given via email/phone to help you get set up ready for your class. All our courses are fully funded through the RNN Group, therefore, all participants must complete and enrolment/registration form.

Fabric Quilted Pine Cones
This free workshop will introduce you to fun and creative ways to use your left over scraps of fabric. Learn how to make a colourful quilted pine cone using pins and fabric squares. No sewing required.

Would you like to design and create your own fabric wall hanging, whilst developing your hand sewing skills? On this session you will learn how to combine a variety of resources and techniques to produce a banner or flag style hanging. Techniques explored will include hand sewing, tassel and pom pom making.

The Mad Crafter’s Tea Cups
Teacups are not just for tea, with a little bit of creativity you can turn them into works of art. This free workshop will introduce you to fun and creative ways to transform a teacup into a unique miniature scene, using a variety of crafting resources. In the session you will learn how to embellish your teacup using decoupage and how to use felt to construct a 3D scene.

Rustic Crafts
Turn old glass bottles and jars into rustic centrepieces using natural jute twine, burlap hessian and other cost effective resources. On this session you will learn different techniques for applying the twine to your bottles or jars. You will then explore different methods for embellishing your items including how to make burlap hessian flowers. Prepare to be amazed by your transformations.

Paper Flower Bouquet
Create your own unique paper flower keepsake using the Kusudama origami flower fold. Explore different paper types as you learn the folds of this popular flower. You will also be introduced to a variety of ways to embellish your flowers and how to turn them into a small bouquet.

Nature Garland
Explore all things nature on this session. Using felt and basic hand sewing you will create an eye-catching garland. Where in nature will you take your inspiration from, the woodland, under the sea or maybe the weather? On this session you will learn how to hand sew a range of 2D and 3D items, bringing them together in a vertical or horizontal hanging.

Mosaic Framing
Join us to learn how to transform a plain photo frame into a beautiful piece of art. You will learn the basics of Mosaic craft, including creating mosaic tiles, using adhesives and grout. This course will introduce you to the basic craft, which will give you the skills to progress to create your own designs. All resources will be provided for free .

Adobe Lightroom
Take your photo editing skills to the next level. Learn how to crop for maximum effect and use tones to balance out your colours. Discover how black and white conversions can create a big impact on your photography output. No experience is required as we will guide you through all the options this App has to offer. The Adobe Lightroom App installed on a device is required to participate in this session. Adobe Lightroom is available as a free download for Android and IOS devices.
