Creative Communities Challenge
Each half term we will be running creative challenges based around the curriculum. These will be available for families through school and will cover the following subject areas; Computing & Digital Technology, Design and Technology, Science, Geography, History and Literacy.
Term 2 - Science Challenge
A selection of science based challenges for year 6 children and parents
This incredible session will take adults and children on a creative adventure through science and space. Families will create their own electrically powered Moon Rover vehicle and Solar System using high quality resources, to start a space race of their own. You will be provided with fact sheets and instructions that will get you building in no time at all. We will help you cover all the basics and leave the creativity and design up to you.
This challenge is running during November and December 2020 through participating schools.
Term 1 - Literacy Challenge
A collection of craft based challenges for Foundation and Year 1 children and parents
This wonderful session will take adults and children on a creative adventure through a story book. Families will create their own story sack and storytelling tools, using a variety of high quality arts and craft resources, bringing characters and settings to life. You will be provided with a book from an exciting range including traditional tales to dinosaur adventures. Families taking part in this activity to use time and time again.
This challenge is running from 1st October to 31st October through participating schools.
