This year’s event-packed extravaganza will again give thousands of children and families the chance to participate in informative and exciting events that involve creativity and the arts..

 

A superb line-up of musicians, authors, performance poets, illustrators, storytellers and theatre companies from across the country have been secured, to entertain audiences throughout the borough.

 

Fiona Radford & Trish Sharp said: “The Children's Festival has now become a major event with a variety of stimulating activities for all children. It aims to encourage children, families and educationalists to celebrate learning.

“This year builds upon the successes of the previous years with favourites such as the Roscars,  Rotherham’s Got Talent, Big String and of course, One Voice.


The Children’s Festival will run from Monday, 13th June until Friday, 24th June, 2016. Roscars will take place on Thursday 30th June and One Voice with mark the final celebration event on Wednesday 6th July 2016
